Old Mobile Phones

How often do we buy a new phone these days? Once a year, more?

What do you do with your old phones?

Did you know that there are companies willing to buy them off you, even if they are not working, and without the original documentation? Well there are - and lots of them.
But which are the best?

Well below are some of the companies that will recycle your old mobile phone. I have run a test on them by pricing how much they will pay for a still functioning #Nokia 6230i in good condition. Here goes:

www.mobile2cash.co.uk: - £20.00
www.envirofone.com: - £21.03, or £24.18 in Argos vouchers
www.mopay.co.uk: - £20.00
www.mazumamobile.com: - £32.00
www.tescomobilerecycle.com: - £15.00 tesco vouchers + 300 clubcard points

Well, from this list, the clear winner is mazumamobile.com

This is a great way to pick up some extra cash from stuff lying around in drawers. However, do it sooner rather than later as the price will drop as the mobile becomes more dated.

The great advantage of this method of selling your mobile rather than using Ebay is that you do not need to have all the original documentation, or the original fascia, or the charger etc. where you would on Ebay because people will be less willing to buy a phone without all the extras.

The reason envirofone mobile recycling pay so much for old and damaged mobiles is that they recycle the precious metals, and the price of gold and silver is very high at the moment.
